Sign up today for your SLED approved Basic Firearms Safety Course. Successful completion of this course, or equivalent, is required to apply for a Concealed Weapons carry Permit(CWP).
The course is a total of 8hrs. consisting of classroom instruction, a written test and a firearms proficiency test.
As a student you will receive instruction on firearms safety; federal, state and local laws; CWP rules and regulations; basic firearms care and cleaning; identifying and dealing with malfunctions; and basic shooting fundamentals. You will also receive an application package and the information to make the process as easy as possible.
We will provide your target and all safety equipment you need for shooting.
Students will need to provide:
- A serviceable handgun(preferably the one you intend to carry)
- The means to carry the handgun(i.e. holster, purse, fanny pack, etc...)
- At least 50 rounds of ammunition for your handgun.
- Comfortable clothing. (Dress for the weather)
- A bag lunch and any refreshments you require.
- A positive and learning attitude!
Fees:
The cost of the course is $75.00 per person. ***This includes fingerprinting and all paperwork needed to apply to SLED***($50.00 SLED Fee Extra, To be sent to SLED with your application) Class fees may be paid along with your registration with cash, check, money order or listed credit/debit cards. To reserve your seat, register now! If you have a coupon or other discount, deduct the amount from your total and attach the coupon to your registration. Upon successful completion of this course the student will have a complete application package ready to send to SLED to obtain a CWP. An additional SLED fee of $50 is required to apply. Send money order or bank check. No Cash.

Individual firearms training, one on one, is available @ $25.00 per/hr. Couples together is $30.00 per/hr. This training is adjusted to your particular wants and needs. Contact for an appointment.
